Dear Steve,
Hello from the captivating city of Warsaw. Home to more than 1.6
million people, Warsaw is the cultural, entertainment, and
financial capital of Poland. This is my first time here, and I
haven’t had a chance to explore much yet. However at first
glance, I would say lovers of culture, art, and entertainment,
will find much to like.

Other culture abounds here with plenty of theatrical and musical
venues like the National Opera, Chamber Opera, National
Philharmonic Hall, the National Theatre, as well as the music
theatres Roma and Buffo, the Jewish Theatre, and puppet
theatres, such as Baj, Guliwer and Lalka.
Warsaw is one of the fastest growing cities in Europe.
Everywhere you look you’ll find evidence of how the Poles are
embracing the opportunities of free enterprise and the
development of democracy. In fact, after recent trips to Russia,
Ukraine, Slovenia and Lithuania, it seems like democracy is
breaking out everywhere on the planet! With the exception of
course, of the United States, and the places our president is
trying to force it down people’s throats.
Maybe there’s a lesson here…
But I can rant another time. The real reason for my note today
